Gym Sess #2!
So gym session today went as follow:
- Cross trainer - 15mins of intervals, of varying levels and inclune
- Leg Press - 2 sets of 15 reps (9kg)
- Glutes - 2 sets of 12 reps (4.5kg) for both right and left
- Back Extension - 2 sets of 12 reps (set 1 - 4.5kg, set 2 - 9kg)
- Hip Abduction - 2 sets of 12 reps (18kg)
- Abdominal Crunch - 2 sets of 12 reps (9kg)
- Chest Press - 2 sets of 12 reps (9kg)
- 1000m on the rowing machine to finish off (done at 7mins 45secs)
- Lateral Raise - (as it was free) 1 set of 20 reps (4.5kg)
And did my stretches in the locker room again. I know it doesn’t seem like the weights are that heavy but remember I’m gradually building up. Just starting out but proud of what I did today :) Back again on Monday as London gets me for the weekend!

Haven’t had any fizzy drinks since the beginning of the year! And not craving it much, let’s keep this up :)
Now if only I could do the same for crisps and chocolate
Need to up my game…
Been so focused on trying on eat as healthy as possible. Been munching on veggies such as peppers and such instead of chocolate, but not all the time. And haven’t been working out really at all, so that needs to change. This week is going to be really busy so I’ll find time when I can. Need to join a gym soon as to keep me motivated and going, trying to work out at home gets a little dull sometimes.
Anyways, I’m gonna be volunteering at my sister’s school the next 2 days and have already planned out my lunch: sandwich, green pepper, carrots, mixed nuts, and kellog’s mini breaks. Pretty sure I’m forgetting something there…
Workout Update
Ok so forgot to post Saturday’s workout. I skipped the cardio as I was short for time so I did the warm up video on Zumba Core. Then I did two strength training videos: Tone It Up’s New Year’s Eve Cocktail Dress Workout & Urbanog’s Upper Body Workout. Could feel it in my arms definitely using the weights. Good thing as well as I needed them slightly toned for a party that evening.
I didn’t work out on Monday as I stayed up til 4am watching the Superbowl and was so exhausted that day. But I carried on with my plan yesterday doing 20mins of Zumba & 2 strength training videos: Tone It Up’s Love Your Legs Workout & Urbanog’s Buns and Thighs Workout.
All’s going well so far :)
From Saturday night. Dressed up for my boyfriend’s dad’s party. Think this is a good look for me :)
Family are having chocolate cake & chocolate covered strawberries…and I said no :)
I am not breaking my new years resolution so soon. I’m giving it til my birthday to not have chocolate or cake, and as my birthday is on the 21st Jan I will have a slice then. But I will be toned this year! This is my year! :D

Insanity Day 8
I love Cardio Power & Resistance but I’m kinda ill atm so doing this kinda killed me and I needed longer breaks than usual. Hopefully keeping active will get rid of these germs.
Hope my new kickboxing DVD arrives in the post tomorrow. Really need to get rid of some frustration. Should find an alternative workout in case it doesn’t arrive.
